Direct war with Iran!

Should we stop it: assuming that we could?

I don’t think US and UK protests, nor even general strikes, will avert this.

The whole trajectory of the US Empire, its military economy, its insatiable desire for energy dominance and its unsinkable aircraft carrier in West Asia (aka Israel), has inexorably led us, since at least the end of WWII, to this very point.

This war will bring down Israel for sure. And probably the Empire with it. BRICS is continuing to organise and rise as we speak. The Unipolar moment and dollar dominance teeter on the edge of their existence.

WMDs and nuclear weapons as we understand them have been over-hyped. Conventional weapons will cause mass destruction, possibly to Western capitals, but humanity will not end.

For 75 years the West has not only stood by and allowed Israel to brutalise Palestinians, it has, for whatever reasons, actively funded and supported it. The US and its vassals have fought proxy wars all over the world to steal oil and assert its will: killing millions. This is what has brought us to this place. This is what must be stopped.

And it will be.
