Fear of social credit is deliberately stirred to blind us to our own reward and punishment system
WHICH IS TOTALLY FUCK£D
I know this; not just because of Julian Assange.
Assange is being held, without charge, at his Majesty’s pleasure in brutal solitary confinement in a maximum security prison called Belmarsh in the UK because little Rishi Sunak and his fellow lapdogs in the litter do as they are told by the US because they know what’s good for them and they might get a biscuit. The US in turn is very pissed off that Assange revealed their war crimes.
The social credit system in China, expansion of which to other countries is not in any way part of the sovereign, self determining nation state idea of multipolarity put forward by the BRICS+ alliance (unlike the export of ‘democracy’ by the US), rewards behaviour that benefits communities and the environment and therefore penalises those who harm them. Seems like a very good idea to me. We must understand that the days of neighbours and families denouncing each other to the Party are over. The Chinese have been there and they’re not going back. Petty criminals in China are identified online as a deterrent rather than putting them in prison; locking people up is costly, counter-productive and ineffective. So far so good.
In the West the rich write loop holes in tax laws and literally get away with murder and rape.
The poor are disproportionately locked up for petty crimes. Prisons are abusive and depressing and many commit suicide. Prisoners are malnourished so that even giving them vitamins (a poor second to fresh fruit and veg) significantly reduces recidivism rates.
In the US, just like the health care system, incarceration in a RACKET. ‘The prison industry worth in the United States is an estimated of $10.3 billion in 2023. This includes the cost of operating prisons, as well as the profits made by private prison companies.’ Prisoners are effectively slave labour and the more poor people sent down and not getting out the better.
This is ‘justice’ Western style. It has nothing to do with rehabilitation nor improving lives nor society. It has everything to do with social control in favour of the rich (and making them richer) over the poor.
Fear of social credit has everything to do with maintaining the US Empire and its hegemony.
