Identifying as Jewish or as a follower of Judaism should command the same amount of respect as any other belief or religion;

which is absolutely none.

People deserve respect. Their beliefs, culture and traditions do not; indeed some of them are totally shit. Female genital mutilation and the slaughter of whales suck and it is not a racist hate crime to say so.

Judaism is a religion that some people, mostly in the Khazar region, were converted into. Turkic converts took the name Jew, however their descendants share genes with the descendants of the unconverted Turkic people. Jewish people do not have a unique ethnicity.

From a Dr. Elhaik;

“The various groups of Jews in the world today do not share a common genetic origin. We are talking here about groups that are very heterogeneous and which are connected solely by religion.”

The bottom line, he claims, is that the “genome of European Jews is a mosaic of ancient peoples and its origin is largely Khazar.”

There is also no blood connection to Hebrew semites for most Israelis, Americans, British nor European people who call themselves Jewish.

Judaism (and many other religions) is, at best, an unhelpful social conditioning system. Children are taught that they are separate and different to other children and separate and different from all other expressions of life. Both of these are false. At worst Judaism is the brainwashing of children into a persecution cult, and by extension other children are born into guilt.

This is not to say that the diversity of shape and colour of humans and our various costumes, dances, festivals, theologies, food, literature and music is not spectacular and wonderful. However, a helpful culture or belief would share wisdom and joy freely and unconditionally with everyone.

If we are to stop ourselves from destroying each other, then learning that there is nothing in our blood, genes nor ethnicity that separates us from each other nor from all of life, is going to be pretty important.
