Israel is a US military base in the heart of the Arab world built on top of Palestine

The US and Israel don't even have to obey the UN!

Zionism began before the Holocaust and was supported by Hitler as it agreed with ideas of racial purity and got Jews out of Germany. Zionists supported Nazis in the beginning. Middle class and affluent Jews went to re-education camps to learn how to be farmer pioneers, bankrolled by Hitler.

After the war came the establishment of a ‘Jewish state’ where Jews would be safe from persecution. Unfortunately this only led to Jewish persecution of the non-Jews who were living there. Not a good look. According to the UN

The Nakba, which means “catastrophe” in Arabic, refers to the mass displacement and dispossession of Palestinians during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. Before the Nakba, Palestine was a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural society. However, the conflict between Arabs and Jews intensified in the 1930s with the increase of Jewish immigration, driven by persecution in Europe, and with the Zionist movement aiming to establish a Jewish state in Palestine.

In November 1947, the UN General Assembly passed a resolution partitioning Palestine into two states, one Jewish and one Arab, with Jerusalem under a UN administration. The Arab world rejected the plan, arguing that it was unfair and violated the UN Charter. Jewish militias launched attacks against Palestinian villages, forcing thousands to flee. The situation escalated into a full-blown war in 1948, with the end of the British Mandate and the departure of British forces, the declaration of independence of the State of Israel and the entry of neighbouring Arab armies. The newly established Israeli forces launched a major offensive. The result of the war was the permanent displacement of more than half of the Palestinian population.

As early as December 1948, the UN General Assembly called for refugee return, property restitution and compensation (resolution 194 (II)).  However, 75 years later, despite countless UN resolutions, the rights of the Palestinians continue to be denied. According to the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) more than 5 million Palestine refugees are scattered throughout the Middle East.   Today, Palestinians continue to be dispossessed and displaced by Israeli settlements, evictions, land confiscation and home demolitions.

The Nakba anniversary is a reminder not only of those tragic events of 1948, but of the ongoing injustice suffered by the Palestinians. The Nakba had a profound impact on the Palestinian people, who lost their homes, their land, and their way of life. It remains a deeply traumatic event in their collective memory and continues to shape their struggle for justice and for their right to return to their homes. In 2022, the UN General Assembly requested that this anniversary be commemorated on 15 May 2023, for the first time in the history of the UN.

People with a historical connection to some land, from thousands of years ago, are allowed to settle on it; even if someone else is living there. Other people who were born on the land who now live elsewhere are not even allowed to visit it! How on earth is this possible? Because of the ridiculous acceptance of the right of Jewish people to settle in Palestine and to suppress and abuse its population.

Zionism is a distortion of Judaism and is not supported by many Jews. The establishment of the Jewish State does not give them the right to dispossess non-Jewish people living there. A Christian nor a Moslem state would not have the right to do this either. The carving up of the world by the Great Powers though ‘legal’ was not ethical. They had no right in the first place to ‘give’ someone else’s land to the Israeli state. The behaviour of the Israelis and their treatment of the Palestinians does Judaism the most massive disservice imaginable. It says the opposite of peace, love and godliness.

If the UN, US and UK cared about peace, human life and dignity they would insist that Israel stops illegally occupying Palestinian territory in Gaza, call an immediate ceasefire and negotiate fair exchange of land and governance with the Arab majority.

They do not do this.

What do they do? They 100% support the bullshit that the Israeli, Zionist, US military base should be allowed to occupy Palestinian land and abuse its people. They think that the Arabs should not be upset that their land is stolen, that they are forced to live in a ghetto and are humiliated daily; though everybody knows that this will bring continual violence. They financially and politically support the siege and retaliation against the Palestinian men, women and children.

They even call peace ‘repugnant’. Anyone would think that human dignity and people not killing each other was the last thing that they wanted. By projecting the Israel flag the end game is either to eradicate Palestine or to stir up another proxy war, or both.

The US vetoed the majority vote for a ceasefire at the UN. The UK abstained.
