It's not just Gaza that shows us the Empire doesn't give a shit about brown people.
It's also the crossing of planetary boundaries.
It's not just the genocide in Gaza that shows that the Empire and its vassals don't see brown people as human beings.
Today is world overshoot day in Australia. If the whole world lived like (non-indigenous) Australians today is the day all the resources for one year have already been used up.
The rest of the year Australians are taking resources from the future and from lower consuming people. The lowest consuming are already more affected by the crossing of planetary boundaries than the highest consuming.
Every year we continue along this path is death to millions of poor and non-White people (excluding the oil rich vassal states).
With current enacted policies we are looking at +2.7 degrees by 2100.
And it’s not just carbon emissions that we need to worry about.
We know that the Empire sees the poor, non-Whites or anyone such as Ukrainians, who are useful as proxies, as dispensable in war. However all these people are also dispensable to the effects of climate change and are being crushed without a thought in the struggle to maintain US hegemony, growth and industry profits.
So many are triggered by ‘degrowth’; they’ve been primed to be by the Empire.
So many have fallen for easily refutable climate denial, such as using single ice core data. They’ve fallen for the utter nonsense that a couple of degrees won’t make much difference, that global warming is not anthropogenic or that any attempt to reduce oil or emissions will immediately bankrupt us; though there will be many jobs in cleaner and cheaper renewables and greater energy independence. That climate policies such as investment in public transport make the poor poorer! All the while governments have been using austerity measures, making investment in transition impossible, this has further enriched industry and the 1%, which itself leads to greater inflation.
Or people believe that the climate crisis is a left wing plot for (unevidenced) depopulation and control. All of these narratives are being deliberately circulated and promoted on the net by industry.
Industry stands to lose $millions in profits if we don’t believe their narrative. They’re doing everything that they can to make sure that we do.
Believing this propaganda allows us to close our eyes to what we are doing to other human beings.

I am adopting "All you need is less" into my everyday lexicon. Thank you!
People of ALL races are also being negatively impacted by the actions governments say they're undertaking to remediate climate change. Especially the poor. And that will get increasingly more evident as we close in on government carbon reduction/climate change goals.
Carbon and fuel taxes increase the cost of everything, especially food and household heating. Businesses lay people off because they have to make up the difference in their bottom line.
Electric vehicles have proven unreliable and impractical in geographically large, seasonally cold regions like Canada. And they're decimating poor countries mining components used in the batteries we have no safe way to recycle.
Resource scarcity wouldn't be an issue if inventors of alternative, cheap energy sources weren't silenced. And going back to community produced food would feed everyone. Community owned utilities would similarly benefit everyone. As would manufacturing value-added products from natural resources in countries where they're harvested, rather than exporting to China.
Climate change may or may not be caused by human activity. There's no point in us debating that here. But the climate change agenda is most certainly being used as an excuse to exert more control on individuals and collapse society in most countries, especially the west.
Yes poor countries have been used by the oligarchy as slave labor and mostly poor people of all races have died in wars fought to ensure oligarchs had access to cheap goods and resources. But now it's ALL of us who are starting to feel the pinch as they put the squeeze on every country, yes even those traditionally inhabited by white folks. We're all in this together now. Because it's about power, not race or money.
