Whether Mother Earth can absorb the burning of tonnes of her coal, oil and gas, the loss of biodiversity, pollinators and oxygen producing rainforests and plankton plus increasing ocean dead zones and still be habitable for humans (she can’t) and whether there is enough land for outdoor animals (in order to abolish the horror of factory farming) to provide the present consumption of animal products (even with killing millions of wild animals and First Nation people and stealing their land; there isn’t) the whole Malthusian debate is based on the error that the Earth and her other species are human’s to use and abuse anyway they see fit, by right.
An economy based growth, profit and exploitation is seen as preferable to one based on care, health and harmony.
We are in no way separate, above, below, better or worse than Mother Earth or other Earthlings.
We are one Life.

It makes me sad beyond the ability of words to express that most people disagree with this; most people DO think the earth and all the living sentient beings on it are, by right, resources for humans to use/abuse any way we see fit.
The base of it all...
Thanks
