No one becomes President without paying the ferryman. They all have to sell bits of their soul and sign off on the daily kill list however nice they are in person. I think that the name Kennedy makes many Americans go all tingly, but politics is just theatre and charade to make us think we have a choice.
However, we don’t need to follow revolutionary leaders nor have a revolution either. They are terrifying. We can be our own anti-authoritarian figures and start or continue the meditation and awareness practice we need to unpick how our conditioning, education, entertainment and socialisation has taken control of nearly every move we make.
We can individually awaken, including to the lies about viruses (I think RFK knows but can’t come out as no virus, no pandemic, and no to all vaccines as he would have no chance of being elected) and we can take back the power of our attention and focus that we gave away to the angry, consciousness numbing scrolling.
The 1% are also in a worse position than anyone. They are totally under the thumb of their programming and the illusion of control. They believe that identifying as superior to others, in power and money, will make them feel better about themselves. Bullied little boys and (a few) girls do not accidentally end up in positions of domination, they are driven there. However, no one can both remain in political power and honour what they really think and feel, the algorithm will spit them out.
It’s a life of division of the psyche and a deal with the devil.
