Reckless trade act, the US/Taiwan initiative, is of course opposed by China. The US is clearly violating the one China principle and is stirring for another war this time with China.

The TSMC is caught up in this, semiconductors will not be outsourced to US, which would lead to recession in Taiwan. China is not the threat, the US is.

Election is in January 2024 in Taiwan. The DPP (broadly favour independence) are legitimate but some are unhappy with their policies. One DPP candidate will visit the US, worsening tensions. Of course the Taiwanese don’t want war. The campaign is being framed into war vs peace. The US always plays a key role in public opinion, which downplay the strong economic links with the mainland. The mainland is remaining restrained. PLA activity was forced by US military exercises which were preparing for a US invasion. China cannot invade their own country. The US are pushing independence and are splitting the vote with the KMT (broadly favour China).

I never would have believed that NATO/US would manipulate a coup in Ukraine deposing the Russian facing party and then start a war with an enemy like Russia. That the UK would go along with like a little well trained dog. But I was wrong.

What how people were radicalised and manipulated in Ukraine.

The US seems no other option than to create war with China over Taiwan.

I disagree with Danny on nukes but a military and economic war will go as badly for Taiwanese as it has for Ukrainians.

They study propaganda techniques, organise regime changes and are controlling and watching every aspect of our lives.

And they’ve even got us believing it’s someone else (who? someone evil anyway) controlling us and not the neocons themselves.
