What is the alternative to Trump's diplomacy?

Your question about what is the alternative to Trump’s alleged peace, is very important and cuts to the heart of the matter. Trump has the same agenda, of weakening Russia, as the Democrats, so not them. The Europeans are puppets of this agenda, so not them.
Team Trump says Ukraine can’t be part of NATO (OBVIOUSLY it can’t) but this gives the EU something to continue fighting for. The theatre is to get the Europeans feeling all nationalistic and vive la france; we’re going it alone against both the US and Putin! Trump is blaming Zelensky for starting the war, when of course it was the US, including Trump 1.0. Trump could easily stop the war by ceasing to fund it, which he’s choosing not to do and he’s is actively filling the swamp with neocon warmongers.
Yet people still throw up their hands in despair and cling to this false hope of peace ‘brokered’ by Trump sometime in the future. This is also part of the narrative. It stops us from addressing the only hope, which is unconditional surrender by Kiev, with no ‘reasurrance troops’, no EU or NATO presence in Ukraine, ensured neutrality, Russian occupied Donbass remaining so and Putin allowed to root out the (US and UK funded) neonazi Azov element. These may well be ‘red lines’ to Zelensky, but who cares? Not only is he a puppet: his puppet-string pullers lost! What’s he going to do; shake his fists and stamp his tiny little feet?
Trump, his diplomacy, his telephone conversations and false hopes of a ‘lasting peace deal’ allows the war to continue. Whereas without it, it could all be over. This is clearly not what Trump wants. With his false hope we get the continued grinding of attrition but now with Europeans buying US weapons and getting ready to be fed into the meat grinder along with the last Ukrainian.

The conflict in Ukraine is a US proxy war with Russia, not a war between Ukraine and Russia. The US can't "mediate" between Russia and Ukraine, the US itself is a co-belligerent. The US engineered this war and each day provides Ukraine AND Europe with the material resources, intelligence, and directives to continue the war. Each day this war continues is the US choosing to continue it. At any time of its choosing the US can end this war. The Trump administration has choosen to not only continue the war, it is using negotiations to stall any decisive conclusion in Russia's favor as it openly commands Europe to double down on and if possible, freeze the war for continuation at a later date. As the US openly wages war and proxy war in the Middle East and threatens even wider war with Iran all while continuing to encroach upon and threaten China, the notion America wants "peace" with Russia is a fevered dream among those who've lost their ability to reason amid a tidal wave of false hope. The US needs time and space to defeat its enemies - including Russia - in detail. Negotiations are a means to pose as wanting peace, while buying that time and space for winning its many and multiplying wars.
