In the past, ideological conflicts were clearly divided along two opposing sides. However, we are now witnessing increasing instances of crossover between these ideologies.

Conservative and far-right groups are rebranding themselves by adopting traditionally progressive values.

For example, as the Trump administration nears its end, it’s likely that the U.S. will face a significant economic crisis. This could lead voters to turn against Trump, giving legitimacy to policies that stand in stark contrast to his administration’s stance.

A similar dynamic is already unfolding in South Korea.

Supporters of the far-right president are voicing strong opposition to climate change initiatives, vaccine mandates, election integrity, and CBDCs. Ironically, these oppositional stances have had unexpectedly positive effects—sparking wider public awareness and debate around these issues.
