I so get what you are saying. I've been vegan for over 22 years and am very troubled by so many of my medical freedom fighters who act as if you must eat ze bugs if you can't eat the cows, pigs, chicken etc. Thanks for this. I'm in the US. Are you in the UK? Wish I weren't flat broke so I could donate to support you.
Hiya, Peggy, you're very welcome. Yes, the freedom fighters opposition to environmentalism has been the most troubling and frustrating aspect of the fallout from the pandemic for me. I think the keto/carnivore thing is now worse than it has ever been.
You are so kind to want to support me, I don't take donations but thank you so much for thinking of me and sorry you're stoney broke. I have done well out of my NHS pension, yes, in the UK, so am fine.
I also find it very troubling that so many in the MFM seem to have a very anti-vegan attitude. How did these things come to be associated? It's as if, if you're someone who didn't want the Covid jab, or don't agree with the vaccines-are-modern-miracles-and-all-and-always-good, you automatically think being vegan is Bad. And the tone of voice and facial expressions some of the MFM 'leaders' display when they say the word vegan are equally as horrible as those displayed by mainstream folks when they say the word anti-vaxxer - the lowest of the low, stupid, evil, to be dismissed, mocked etc. Why? I am absolutely baffled by how refraining from killing other beings is Bad. What is God's name is so bad about being vegan that we deserve that level of contempt? I also get the feeling that backlash to the Globalist's 'eat ze bugs' thing has only strengthened the keto-carnivore brigade. It is so unfortunate that these two issues have been intertwined in this way. Everything that is going on in the world today makes me so sad.
I agree, it's absolutely stunning, hurtful and illogical that love is now contemptible.
Though I think it's more than unfortunate. Being on the receiving end of such pervasive, repeated and unjustified opprobrium for expressing feelings of compassion as well as hearing and seeing the vegan sneer, gives us a unique insight into how 'hate inc' as matt taibbi calls it works. The market share is so scattered that social media targets demographics and feeds them hate about other demographics to make them feel part of a team, superior, right etc for clicks and advertising (guess who advertises off MFM, IVM, local 'green' butchers, keto etc). All issues are permanently binary- dead animals good, vegans bad, hate is directed to people not institutions (repeated phrases about Russel Brand and YNH), everything bad is vegans fault, if the demographic is partly to blame (eg for environmental destruction) it's not covered, switching teams is not allowed and the other side are literally Hitler -vegans for refusing to accept the evil that is the WEF and their little schemes are 'themselves part of the nexus of wrongdoing', and in the fight against Hitler anything is permitted, MFM like to feel superior so are fed these stories of the WEF numb nut's plans about depopulation and ze bugs.
Why would we have thought that the MFM demographic was immune to such targeting and manipulation by media and industry?
The industry funded Weston A Price foundation is also closely linked to Cowan and therefore the no virus MFM leaders. They have decades of deliberately misleading research to add into the mix too.
I'm sure the narrative thought of all this too. Of course there would be opposition, the existing anti-vaxxers plus new convid converts. The Better Way and world council for health are definitely planned 'controlled opposition' as some call it.
Why not throw in anti environmentalism and get them not caring at all about animals, soil fertility and pollinators etc. And another great big win for Pharma's even bigger client than convid- the animal agriculture industry.
I hope we can get through to those not vegan to share these insights of what is happening to make us all more aware of the messaging through social and 'alternative' media- all the same ploys are used where ever it's from, all funding and advertising comes from somewhere, and we need constant awareness of what's going into our brains.
I'm not holding my breath though.
It has helped me a bit to realise vegan sneering freedomers are not sneering at me personally, they've just been primed and conditioned to do so.
I didn't realize there are judgments against vegans in this community. It's heartbreaking to see the cruelty in the animals raised for slaughter industry. Everyone needs to be aware of that and have their eyes open so they can eat with full consciousness of the repercussions.
If "internet" is right vegans make about 1.1% of the world population. How much of vegan products would fall under the "processed food" category, in your estimate? Could you kindly give some examples of how your vegan diet looks like (just raw, unprocessed vegetables or how much are provessed vegan products part of your diet ...etc)?
How would, in your opinion, agriculture change if let's say 50-75% (or even all) people would switch to a vegan diet? Thanks a lot!
The vegans I know, and I don't know many, and myself are about 95% unprocessed. I don't like any fake food, and don't use oil for cooking. Just legumes, veg, fruit and nuts plus pasta, whole grains, quinoa, rice , occasionally bread.
I would say that all processed food is unhealthy and animal flesh, milk and eggs count as highly processed plant food.
Agriculture would change as a lot less transport, land and water would be needed, at least 10 times less, and there'd be alot less toxic sewage and animal abuse.
There'd be more land for wild animals and plants and healthier people.
If I may add: I guess there are statistics/calculations out there listing how much water/land/etc is needed for omnivore food production pro capite; maybe there is also any statistic/assumption (comparison chart maybe?) on how much land/water etc is needed for fruit/veg only production pro capite? Where do I go for such charts/data?
i can might shed some light on the vegan bad thing stems from. i use to own a raw/vegan fast food concept, while looking for funding to get a brick and mortar locations open we did farmers markets and corporate catering. 80% of our customer base were not vegetarian or vegan, about 15% were vegetarian and the rest vegan. i would always tell the people working the booth do not bring your personal beliefs into the conversations with the customers. know that there will be a good chance that you will offend them. And that's where the rub is, a religious vegan is no different then a hardcore catholic or muslim. i had to let a few people go because they would end up baggering the customers about not going 100% vegan. If people feel strongly about a certain philosophy that's a wonderful thing, but don't impose it on others. People need to lead by example. if you're having great success with a particular way of living your life fantastic, but don't press people that they have to do it as well. just be the example, and perhaps they will look at you and say i wanna like him or her.
One last example of what i mean. The raw vegan community is different then the vegan community. Hollywood does a lot of raw vegan because it is the fountain of youth, they do it for vanity reasons a lot of the time. and for me that's ok, but i would get into the arguments with hardcore religious fanatic vegans who would say, "well if you're not doing it for the animals, then you're not really a vegan." and that i call bullshit. it made take the vegan label and want throw it in the trash.
Thank you that is interesting. I think the anti vegan used to come from there ie not wanting to be made to feel guilty, preached to, but people who see a wrong, such as slavery really should be able to speak out about it, but there is a new kind now. The keto/carnivore movement is very strong in the MFM and I think vegans are now seen as part of the nexus of evil wishing to control us.
This is a very interesting video of Joe Rogan interviewing Russel Brand. Brand states at the start that he thinks his veganism and morality, I think he's vegan for animals, is his own business and he would never push it on anyone else, which I don't think he does. Joe Rogan says yes he wishes more people (meaning vegans) were like that.
Later on Joe Rogan is basically telling Russell to stop being a vegan so he can train harder! And rambles on about trying to justify his hunting (proceed money is given to worthy charities ( no, some the proceeds of child prostitution being donated to charity does not make it right), etc) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMuSsWbWJq0
I think it's now absolutely the other way rounds. I hesitate to tell people I'm vegan more than I'm unvaccinated. People tell me I shouldn't have compassion, that it's being used against me. They go on and on about how green and healthy eating dead animals is, that animals aren't harmed. Shouldn't they mind there own business and not preach to me? Why does it upset them so much me just saying I'm a vegan?
I hate the word vegan. It's so easy to spit out like a pejorative. But people, eg Jordon Peterson are now opening being scathing about 'compassionate' people. People who care about animals is a very bad thing for MFM.
Yes I take your point they're just human and flawed like us. But I feel the colonialists tricked and massacred them and industrialists are still doing so. And they were there first.
I so get what you are saying. I've been vegan for over 22 years and am very troubled by so many of my medical freedom fighters who act as if you must eat ze bugs if you can't eat the cows, pigs, chicken etc. Thanks for this. Yes, they are from US Geological surveys, Cornell university etc etc Mic the Vegan goes into detail in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpmTiHjUEBU&t=6s water into corn and soy etc
Thanks for the link. I apprechiate your patiens. After seeing that this came up (hope you don't mind): https://youtu.be/K530xARS7Bg
That was interesting. In fact, some of it I already knew, I might much more apprechiate this knowledge now. Thanks a lot.
Thank you, I really like him. Yes, addiction!
