The number of people immigrating exceeds the number of emigrating so the population is rising and young people from abroad continue to wipe our bums and pay our pensions. However, this is not what people are up in arms about; the stop the boats crisis was deliberately created.

Thank you this is why I post on substack. I have edited to make it clearer. The number of asylum seekers in boats (rather than from the EU in lorries) has increased though the overall number has remained stable in recent years.
