I'm not aware of any climate targets being enforced regarding animal ag. We were told that the nitrogen limit (for some nebulous climate target) was what made the Dutch farmers go on strike, when in fact it was many other things. I've covered the fact that global warming (which is happening) and climate change (more accurate as encompasses other factors) have been used interchangeably since the 60s, there was never a switch.

I'm not aware of any climate targets being enforced regarding animal ag. We were told that the nitrogen limit (for some nebulous climate target) was what made the Dutch farmers go on strike, when in fact it was many other things. Nitrogen as far as I know only appears to be an issue if you want an organic certificate. There are no targets or restrictions for any other type of farming. This is all a con.

Getting back to the Battery topic we were discussing above, what are your thoughts on the ethics of using lithium ion batteries for our energy needs currently (until new hypothetical battery production ideas such as sodium batteries hopefully become widely available) given how devastating the lithium and cobalt mining, refining and battery manufacturing industries are for the environment?

The batteries we are currently using for our phones etc use the devastating cobalt mining. we need to change, for our current use, not for any future reliance more on electricity. I believe sodium solutions are here. but the commitment to better ways of living is not.

It seems absurd to me, why not just like them be killed and sold for dead flesh, it's only a matter of a few years. Talk of 'culling' farmed animals destined to be slaughtered anyway smacks of manipulation of the animal product market, increasing demand and price. The environmental message is tightly controlled. Yes co2 is only 0.04%, rare minerals and arsenic are important too even at smaller percentages. The co2 that nature puts into the atomosphere is mostly recycled back again.
I've covered the few scientists saying cooling, compared to the many saying warming. Hansen's predictions have clearly not been shown to be false. I've covered the fact that global warming (which is happening) and climate change (more accurate as encompasses other factors) have been used interchangeably since the 60s, there was never a switch.
I've also covered it being a lot hotter when co2 was higher, yes life but no ice caps nor 8 billion people dependent on agriculture and generally too hot for humans to work outdoors.
I clearly isn't a fraud and the fact that you think I have a hidden motive, as my only possible reason confirms what my post is about.
