Regarding “solutions,” to paraphrase Billy Joel, we (meaning: us little people) didn’t start the problem, so to ask us to do anything would be patently unfair (beyond our individual acts of recycling and leaving undisturbed the local land and air). Gov’t-run programs such as HAARP and geoengineering, corporations and their ceaseless production of waste. These are to blame. If they can be stopped, the Earth should recover from whatever “anthropogenic” global warming that has occurred. Of course, the government will tell us that the solution to government-created problems is more government: https://babylonbee.com/news/solution-to-government-created-problem-is-more-government-says-government/
I’m still reading and observing, and so far my decision to not get caught up in the “man-made climate change will lead to our extinction” stuff makes good sense. Unless we mess up big time with some crazy remedial projects, the earth will do just fine.
