Does direct action make things worse?

Here is a tall man seen disrupting a football match and dousing himself in a cloud of Easy Jet Orange powder. How did this come about?

Aileen Getty has ‘become a philanthropic leader who co-founded the Climate Emergency Fund and has donated over a million dollars to brave climate activists.’ The fund has donated over $4 million of Big Oil money to Extinction Rebellion and Just Stop Oil.

(Aileen Getty also was apparently diagnosed in 1984 with ‘HIV/AIDS’ and according to her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Taylor, was just about to die. Getty appeared, with very glossy hair and clear skin, though being pushed in a wheel chair, at an ‘AIDS’ charity event that raised $millions for Big Pharma for a disease that doesn’t even exist. She since seems to have completely recovered.)

The media is provided with carefully stage managed photo ops of these brave JSO ‘activists'. For example a young, student type woman covered with EasyJet orange powder is apparently being hosed down by a sensible, older woman, who just happened to have a hose, at Chelsea flower show.

Easy Jet Orange coloured soup has also been thrown at the glass pane of a painting and two young activities have ‘glued’ their hands to the wall. They clearly have been allowed to do this damage and journalists and photographers were clearly told when to turn up. No one in security is trying to stop them and they are also providing clicks and publicity for flower shows and art galleries. Brave activists are clearly posing for photographers and will then go off and have their tea.

Just Stop Oil! though right? No, just like Stop War! meant, in fact, Start War and Stop Putin! (and blow up the Nord stream pipeline: there’s even a placard for it!)…

…Just Stop Oil! means get on a plane, jet off for your holidays and Just Use Oil!

Intensely aggravating and disruptive Insulate Britain are also funded by oil millions. Its purpose to really piss people off and make environmentalists a laughing stock. Did anyone actually know what the protestors objectives were?

Stop War! and Just Stop Oil! = F$ck Putin (and the EU) and Just Use Oil!

There may well be surveys that, depending on who you ask and what you ask, show net positive response in ‘raising awareness’ of climate change if not in convincing anyone of the institutional change required, though I'm sure there is evidence of a net negative response too. However the purpose of a system is what it does: JSO pisses people off, even environmentalists.

These stage managed photo ops have provided industry with massive opportunities for mockery and accusations of hypocrisy. Industry of course controls the mainstream media and they simply wouldn't run these JSO pictures if they were working against their interests.
