Mass disobedience to 'disrupt capitalism' is as counter-productive as 'breaking the law' to ‘raise awareness of climate change’.
A 'climate change is real' protestor could end up as the cell mate of a 'climate change is control' protestor
They could wile away the hours debating; in the massive prisons allegedly built for the purpose.
What do sitting in the road, truckers convoys, riots and disobedience achieve? Increased council taxes, increased policing, small business suffering more that corporations, ordinary people angry at not being above to get to work, ordinary people angry at not being able to get to sleep and the frail, elderly and disabled being even more vulnerable and scared.
Do the politicians and corporate owners suffer at all. Not in the least.
The way to strike at globalism is to hit them were in hurts. In the pocket. Boycott youtube, Amazon (talking to myself), go to local cafes not Starbucks, form one’s own media and self sufficient communities of health care and growing fruit and veg.
The anti-censorship, free speech 'movement' started by Michale Shellenburger, Matt Taibi and Russell Brand apparently can't even decide if 'divisive' people like Dawkins (who got in a muddle over the vaccines) and Brand (alleged and punished with no charges let alone trial) should be allowed to be signatories.
Any movement will have to learn to tolerate its major differences of opinion. I suggest we do that first in our own communities before attempting to accelerate the demise of the Imperial hegemonic economy, which most us have contributed to and upon which we ride, and replace it with something we can’t even make work in small groups.

I think you are saying that grandstanding gets us nowhere. That we might be more effective in small groups. Not really sure.
