Beautifully, said Jo. Like Gandhi said. Be the change you want to see in the world. I think that’s the best we can ask of ourselves.

Richard Medhurst has been a favorite of mine from his reporting about Julian Assange and he has an unerring sense of truth and humanity as critical elements of journalism. His roots in Syria and fluency in Arabic add a perspective we can't get from corp presstitutes. Listen to Richard's translation of the speech by Nasrallah regarding Arab resistance.. I agree this is a turning point where America and Israel will be universally viewed as the real terrorists.

I think for sure the oppressed desire to kill their oppressors is not racial. ( I think that White settler farmers in Zimbabwe fleeing from the situation or being conscripted into defence, plus sanctions, also had a negative effect on the economy, not only farmers being killed by Nkomo and Mugabe forces.

But I think that the colonial, oppressive, enslaving desire must teach itself othering in order to function. If it can't do this with race or species it will use language, religion or any belief and view them as inferior.

The last two sentences of your response encapsulates so much truth, and so much of what is wrong in our countries Marc. And yes, Covid is a bright, shining, horrible example of that.
