Bill- it’s over. So is military ‘protection’ and loans tied to neoliberal policies. The time of neocolonialist pharmaceutical and agro-engineering interventions for the effects of malnourishment and famine which Western colonialism is in large part responsible for, is over. It’s so over.

Instead of ceasing to suppress them and their unions keeping them deliberately sick, poor and dependent; providing us with cheap labour and resources he uses then as a drug market.

Instead of allowing them to retain their own wisdom about health and balance with the environment in their communities, which worked for thousands of years before the white man came to spray their rivers, change their ecosystems, to impoverish them in towns with poor sanitation to make them ill he forces vaccines on them.

Polio ‘eradication’ (caused by pesticides not a pathogen) cost the Indian government a fortune and increased the incidence of debilitating acute flaccid paralysis ten fold. The Green Revolution in India was also a disaster.

Africans do not need short wheat to better resist high winds. There are always consequences of your hubris ‘the introduction of the Rht2 dwarfing gene into UK wheat varieties made them more vulnerable to fusarium’. Nor do they need to invest in computer technology for education so that children can stay at home and learn nothing.

Philanthropy is a way to avoid taxes, to buy political control, test experimental vaccines and seeds, and all the while have diplomatic immunity in case anything goes wrong (which it always does). The stealing and patenting of seeds, the enslavement to Bayer, the hegemonic, control freak, patriarchal, patronising Empire must stop testing on Africans and stop poisoning them with vaccines and drugs for created diseases such as AIDS and other issues caused by colonial greed in the first place.

The global majority are grown ups. They don’t want philanthropy that bankrupts and enslaves them. Nor do they want to be indebted to technology that indoctrinates their children, harms their bodies and poisons their soils and land. Piss off home.
