Promoting the carnivore diet is as ridiculous and damaging as transactivism
Humans are not lions
Based on hearsay, personal stories and anecdotes the carnivore diet for humans is said to cure depression, obesity, hypotension, type 2 diabetes and MS.
Yes, you will loose weight through ketosis and being unable to stomach more calories.
Weight loss by any means will improve your blood pressure and lipids (though not necessarily you CVD risk In general, participants with incident Ischaemic Heart Disease had higher frequencies in consumption of red, processed meat, salt added to food, and whole grains (compared to refined grains) but consumed less fruits and vegetables compared with those without incident IHD..) and if you don’t eat any sugar your insulin resistance will not be put to the test.
However, I can’t think of a more depressing, monotonous, kidney damaging, liable to make you constipated and have trouble sleeping diet than dead cows, lambs and pigs.
Decades of research is not trumped by anecdotes. Saturated animal fat, animal protein, refined oils, flour and sugar are still detrimental to health. Carnivores have short intestines to expel toxic rotting flesh quickly, human colons are longer for reabsorption and flesh eaters are susceptible to colon cancer for this reason.
For 20 million years of Homo sapiens evolution we were frugivores, mainly fruit, nuts and succulent eating mammals. Only in the last 2 million years was some dead animals added , though not everyday and in small quantities shared between groups (these animals also. had a much lower fat content than farmed animals today), while people still gathered green leaves, fruits and nuts.
The human body thrives when its microbiome thrives. Beneficial bacteria only thrive on fibre which is only found in plants.

And bully for you if you can afford ‘unchemicalised’ grass fed animals treated like members of the family until they’re carted off to slaughter at 6 months old, the vast majority of the billions of animals in the industry will still be chemicalised by pharma and in pain.
i am not a dietitian, but have worked in the food and health industry for close to 20 years. i even have a vegan fast food concept even though i'm not vegan. what i have learned is that the reason diets work at first is because you're body is a perfect running machine. the way we eat, we're usually getting in the way of this perfect machine. when you diet, you eliminate some of those things that have been getting in the. example. I lost 90lbs in 6 months on a raw food diet. No processed starch, no processed sugar, no meat, no dairy, and nothing cooked above 118 degrees. i eliminated sugar, flour and all processed starches, my body was thanking me for not putting anymore sugar in gas tank. Like most diets it's unsustainable for most folks. Keto, paleo, carnivore, atkins, vegan, raw, etc, all eliminate certain things from one's diet. They allow your body not to have such an uphill battle, and gives it the opportunity to do what it does best, and that's to be healthy.
Veganism isn't a diet. It's not about losing weight. It's about not participating in cruelty to animals. I've been vegan for over 22 years. When you become vegan for the animals, you are vegan forever.
