Sinophobia continues in MSM
as it does in the alternative media.
An A to G of some sinophobic propaganda all over both mainstream and alternative media.
A) Firstly- the imminent ‘invasion’ of Taiwan by China. The US is openly painting China as the enemy, though China have made no aggressive acts towards their own province of Taiwan. The US is preparing the West for war against China using Taiwan (part of One China). More information from Brian Berletic
The US and the NED is also interfering and enacting regime changes in The Philippines, Nepal, India and Indonesia. Japan is already a US base and vassal.
In 2023 Frank Gardner writing for the BBC claimed that a Chinese invasion of Taiwan (its own country) would be for China:-
‘A last-ditch option; instead they’ll wrap themselves like an anaconda and squeeze (one of it’s own lucrative trading centres)- choking off Taiwan’s access to the internet and maritime trade. And it would be risky for the US to intervene’ Intervene in a civil war that the US itself has been stirring for decades by putting troops on Taiwan, arming the independence movement and patrolling the South China Sea? Even though Taiwan has absolutely nothing to do with the US and is thousands of miles away across the Pacific ocean on the other side of the world!
Gardner followed with some even more far-fetched scare mongering about genetically modified Chinese soldiers who the author has been told by ‘somebody very, very senior in the British military’ is a real thing.
B) There is no social credit system in China, it’s a big lie. There is no moral ranking system. The systems that do exist are not centralised nor governmental. They are reasonable, or at least they are similar to Western credit tracking. The Chinese system only looks at offences that are offences anywhere in the world. Who funds this lie about Chinese communist enslavement and social credit? It’s sponsored by Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, Twitter, US and Australian State dept, Lockheed Martin and Northrup Grummen. It’s all part of the propaganda to create anti-China sentiment for the coming proxy war in Taiwan. The lies are repeated in MSM and MFM.
C) The propaganda about organ harvesting and incarceration of millions of Uyghurs in Xinjiang is a lie.
According to the Grayzone; ‘Determined to undermine China’s economic rise, the Trump and Biden administrations have accused Beijing of everything from the mass internment of Uyghurs to coerced sterilization and genocide.
The charge of forced labor has caused the most material damage, with numerous US clothing companies pledging to boycott factories in the Xinjiang and reject cotton sourced from the area.’
Just like separatist sentiment that has been cultivated by the CIA at great expense in Taiwan; ‘an investigation by The Grayzone into the Uyghur separatist movement in the Washington DC area has uncovered a jingoistic, gun-obsessed subculture driven by the kind of right-wing ideology that was on display during the March 21 car caravan through downtown.
Leading figures of the UAA operate a right-wing gun club known as Altay Defense. Proudly dressed in US military fatigues, Altay Defense drill in advanced combat techniques with former members of US special forces who also train private mercenaries and active duty US service members. Members of the militia-style gun club espouse pro-Trump politics and anti-immigrant resentment.’
The US State Department accusation of China ‘genocide’ relied on data abuse and baseless claims by far-right ideologue Adrian Zenz. ‘The US government’s accusation of genocide against China stems from a single source: a June 2020 paper by Adrian Zenz, a right-wing German researcher affiliated with the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation and neoconservative Jamestown Foundation in Washington, DC.’
“Preventing births” by itself cannot be evidence of alleged genocide without evidence of intent to destroy the group in question. Otherwise, any birth control program provided to an ethnic group would be prima facie evidence of a policy of genocide against the group.
Zenz argued that population control measures applied to Uyghurs could be branded as “genocidal” because population growth rates fell by 84 percent in the two largest Uyghur prefectures between 2015 and 2018, and declined further in several minority regions in 2019. But more complete statistics that Zenz cited in his report, and data that he conveniently omitted, contradicted his conclusion.
Zenz provided statistics revealing that between 2005 and 2015, Uyghur population growth in Xinjiang was 2.6 times higher than that of Han Chinese in the Xinjiang region.’
Like pictures of people queuing up to vote for Putin were claimed to be protests; Zenz absurdly claims that pictures of 70 year olds getting free health checks was in fact evidence of the Chinese forcefully inserting them with IUD coils!
On the rise of this propaganda of genocide and alleged refusal to grant ‘self-determination’ to the Uyghurs- the Chinese government themselves wrote a White Paper in 2019:
‘Xinjiang has long been an inseparable part of Chinese territory. Never has it been the so-called “East Turkistan”. From the 18th century to the first half of the 19th century, as the West made a distinction between the various Turkic languages (branches of the Altaic languages), some foreign scholars and writers coined the term “Turkistan” to refer to the region south of the Tianshan Mountains and north of Afghanistan, which roughly covered the area from southern Xinjiang to Central Asia. They called the two areas on either side of the Pamirs “West Turkistan” and “East Turkistan”. (NB the UN refers to the East Turkestan Islamic movement as a separatist and terrorist movement.)At the turn of the 20th century, as “Pan-Turkism” and “Pan-Islamism” made inroads into Xinjiang, separatists in and outside China politicized the geographical concept and manipulated its meaning, inciting all ethnic groups speaking Turkic languages and believing in Islam to join in creating the theocratic state of “East Turkistan”. The advocacy of this so-called state has become a political tool and program for separatists and anti-China forces attempting to split China.’
‘The Uyghur ethnic group came into being through a long process of migration and integration. In Xinjiang, different cultures and religions coexist, and ethnic cultures have been fostered and developed in the embrace of the Chinese civilization. Islam is neither an indigenous nor the sole belief system of the Uyghur people.’
‘By the end of the 19th century, 13 ethnic groups – the Uygur, Han, Kazak, Mongol, Hui, Kirgiz, Manchu, Xibe, Tajik, Daur, Uzbek, Tatar, and Russian – had settled in Xinjiang, with the Uygurs having the largest population. Ethnic groups had grown, developed and integrated with each other despite periods of isolations and conflict, and shared good fortune and hardship in a close relationship.’
‘Various ethnic groups in Xinjiang have long been part of the Chinese nation. However, in more recent times, hostile forces inside and outside of China, especially separatists, religious extremists and terrorists, have tried to split China and break it apart by distorting history.’
Those forces are the NED and the CIA.
According to the UN’s 2022 report there is no evidence of a genocide in Xinjiang. However, under pressure from the NED backed group the World Uyghur Congress the UN called the ‘limited number’ of unverified accounts of forced IUD insertion ‘credible’ and they pointed to the drop in birth rate in 2017 (though it had previously been higher than the rest of China), which coincided with the crack down on religious extremism, as some kind of smoking gun.
China responds to these ‘credible’ accusations;
‘The “actress” Zamira Dawut said that after her release from the education and training center, she was forced to be sterilized and her uterus removed because she gave birth to more than two children. As a matter of fact, Zamira Dawut had never studied in the education and training center, and her fifth brother Abduhelil Dawut had clarified that in a media interview. In March 2013, Zamira Dawut gave birth to the third child in Urumqi Maternal and Child Care Service Center and sighed a childbirth consent form voluntarily, firmly requesting “to have a caesarean section and tubal ligation”, and then the Center conducted operation as she required. She was never sterilized, not to mention “uterus removal”.
The “actress” Mihrigul Tursun claimed that she was forced to take unknown drugs which led to irregular bleeding and reduced menstrual cycle when she was in the education and training center, then she was confirmed being sterilized by America doctors. In fact, she was detained for inciting ethnic hatred and discrimination by the Public Security Bureau in Qiemo County on April 21, 2017. As Mihrigul Tursun had many infectious diseases including syphilis, the county PSB withdrew coercive measures toward her out of humanitarian considerations on May 10, 2017. Besides the 20 days of criminal detention, Mihrigul Tursun was totally free in China. She had never been sentenced and never studied in any education and training center, or been forced to take drugs against her will. Another investigation shows that there’d been no record confirming her receiving contraceptive operation, her parents said she has fertility. Mihrigul Tursun made up stories more than once. She lied that her young brother Akbar Tursun was abused to death in the education and training center. Akbar Tursun clarified after he heard what she said and noted that “Mihrigul Tursun is always telling lies, she lied about my death and other people’s death .”
The “actress” Tursunay Zinavdin said that women detained in the education and training center had to either accept sterilization or take menstruation terminating pills. She also claimed that the tubal legation she was forced to have was conducted in irreversible way. The truth is she had never undergone contraception. The fact is Tursunay Zinavdin has had two marriages: The first one ended in divorce with her ex-husband Tursunjan Ahmetjan because of her infertility. She had no child with her present husband too. Her so called “bilogical daughter” is the daughter of her present husband’s niece. Tursunay Zinavdin’s kinsfolk also told us she was sterile.
We’d like to remind friends who care about Xinjiang, you may toss the reports that are related to those “actresses” into dustbin once you see them because those are fake news.’
China responds to the 2022 report suggesting the human rights violations of the US should be addressed and that people should visit Xinjiang to see what it’s really like.
However, despite all it’s problems of bias the 2022 human rights UN report on the Urghurs did not find any evidence of a genocide.
D) Tiktok is not manipulating us using fake followers nor spying on Western citizens. It’s the US and Israel who are doing this! Fake following for large X accounts is about 40%; Lowkey’s, for example, is at 11% below average. A person’s followers do not indicate that Lowkey, nor any other pro-Palestinian person, is being manipulated by China or Russia. The Israeli soldiers themselves, who are uploading videos of their atrocities, are the ones fuelling anti-Israel sentiment on social media.
E) Yes, China burns a lot of coal, however, they reached peak carbon emissions in 2023 and have invested massive amounts in solar energy. It is also unfair to criticise greater emissions because we have outsourced much of our industry to China; if we stopped consuming so much, they would stop producing so much.
F) The Belt and Road Initiative is not debt diplomacy. It uses government State banks to invest in other countries for mutual benefit. This is in contrast to the West where Blackrock, who were even invited to the G7, uses private money. The money is used to buy up infrastructure, hospitals, water, energy production and airports to charge monopoly rents to the public, particularly in poor countries, to make the rich political class even richer. Not for mutual benefit. Blackrock are also $20 billion into bitcoin; there is no alternative banking system in the West. The oligarchs, Musk and Bezos, will own everything in the West, not communists nor the WEF. Socialist countries such as China, Cuba and Laos have the highest home ownership in the world. They don’t pay rent and many don’t have a mortgage.
G) Watch out for people saying the CCP -its not the Chinese Communist party it’s the CPC- the Communist Party of China because the misquote is often followed by sinophobia. China is the PRC- the People’s Republic of China- we wouldn’t refer to America as the Democrats, or the UK as the Labour party. Also watch out for harking back to the bad old of days of scary Triads and their alleged historical reach across the world- it’s a fear narrative.
H) The US attempted to portray the ‘covid’ pandemic as a deliberate Chinese bioweapon. It’s nonsense.
Watching what they say in MSM and what’s going round in alternative media as well, shows us not what is happening; but rather what the anti-China US interests what us to think is happening.

Jo, your admiration for China is not shared by everyone in Asia, where I live, I can assure you.
The dislike of the (mainland) Chinese is so great that many hotel owners would rather forego their custom than have put up with their rudeness and arrogance. Their promised infrastructure projects never materialize.
China wont invade Taiwan; this is just bluster.
