There are lefties who are anti war. For the most part though the left has always been pro war. The leadership for certain is pro war. War destabilizes and destroys. The leadership has always wanted that. And most of the left has been pro war if their leadership designates it as being the ‘right war’ to fight. Take the labor Unions. They approved Hamas. Does the average worker? Probably not. But their leadership does, and the average worker goes along with it. Look back historically. Most wars are started in the US when a Democrat is in power. Trump was the first non war President I have seen in my 50+ adult years. And the left hated him. With a passion. If Trump were President Ukraine would not be happening. This could have ended 18 months ago. But the Left leadership likes war. I don’t know how and why the average leftie can’t see what is obviously happening.
For the record I was raised hard left. Welsh coal miner stock, moved to Canada. Hard left. When I was 21 a very left government was elected in BC, where I was born. Man! Was I excited. I lobbied them on a project - a stupid project in retrospect, but I was 21. At least three members of the government hinted at a bribe for their support. Most of them, and I met every one of them, were very stupid people. The business party in BC at the time, were dismissive of me, but took the time to meet and told me ‘this is a dumb idea, but I won’t stand in your way. I also won’t vote to give you a dime of government money.’ Very practical and not mean. I thought they were narrow minded but not bad people. There was one good guy. He gave me lots of time. He was very smart and asked good questions. He was by far the best. And he was CONSERVATIVE!! I hated Conservatives! I had spent a couple of weeks couch surfing in our Capitol, where I now live. When I went home to Vancouver I told my parents how awful the Socialists were. They were angry at me. Quite angry. They never got over my apostasy, which is what it became. My parents knew personally a senior cabinet member. Personally. They said he was vile. A horrible rude arrogant jerk. I said ‘Mom, Dad....they’re all like that. The best ones aren’t. But they are aggressive and manipulative.’ They thought their acquaintance was an outlier. Ask yourself this - how come every conservative leader, and this is true in North America, not sure in the UK, always has a number of people who tell kind stories of him. Ever hear anyone say anything nice about ANY left leader? Hillary? Obama? Justin Trudeau? And the Green leaders are as bad, if not worse. Elizabeth May, first Green elected in Canada, actually North America, runs through staff like crazy. She is drunk and abusive to them. David Suzuki, the enviro leader, demands two 15 year old girls to be his aide wherever he travels and speaks. And they have to dress a certain way. A buddy hired Al Gore to speak at the opening of a Green building. Gore had a list of demands a mile long. Limos etc. but he was to be driven to the venue in a limo. However a half mile from the venue he was to be transferred to a Prius, which was the only electric then. The last half mile he would drive in a Prius. Then back to his hotel? Same thing. Prius for a half mile, then a switch to a limo.
I have been conservative for nearly 50 years. My move from left to right took about five years, so maybe full right for 47 years, as I am 72. I know a ton of conservatives. Not one is racist. Not one is homophobic. Not one is a misogynist. Everything you have been told for decades about ‘racist, misogynist, greedy’ etc has been a big lie told over and over. Most people live conservatively. They try to live within their means. They try to be good. Etc. They are conservatives. But the politically naive vote left despite the incredible failures of every left policy. And hate conservatives as I did.

Blanket repeating of the script around western governments - rightly or wrongly the Palestinian 'terrorists' also have the right to 'defend' their homes and land against European colonisation and occupation but we don't hear much about that. It's the whole Orwellian repeating of things that don't make any sense and being taken for a fool that makes me so mad. Trust the science even though the science says the opposite of what you're saying. Cutting off water is terrorism (if Russians do it), cutting off water is a right to defend (if Israelis do it).
I am flabbergasted that now it is not obvious about the fake pandemic and Ukraine. But I know what most of my family and friends are going to say about Hamas.

At risk of terrible retribution!!, there hasn't been actual evidence of a 'holocaust' where some 5 MILLION Jews were
melted down.
They MIXED the real suffering that happened TO the Jews (who were HATED by the Germans for how the rich
treated the Germans) and made it into millions. The ACTUAL number plummeted by about 380,000 from
1940 to 1946, or about that.
Israel made a LOT of money on guilt.
Like USA, I read several months ago that there were 'shadow governments' and 'shadow armies' that did things
very differently than the ones supposed to do the job.
Even the LAW, the laws around Palestine and so on didn't seem clear, and again were based on
people in power TAKING away for themselves.
The Palestinians seem to be very oppressed by these shadow groups, which are NOT checked by the
Israeli governments. They seem to 'look the other way', letting them. Please correct me if I have
these things wrong.
I STAND with things done properly, on both sides.
Sometimes one side does wrong and I'd actually EXPECT mistakes, and then sometimes the other
side overreacts.
So there's money in this thing, maybe again getting money.
