Truly amazing to watch, is it not. FWIW, I think a lot of the anti-war protesting in the 60s stemmed from the fact that we were drafting young men to die in Vietnam, a war that we really had no business starting or continuing. We don't have that same situation now, and decades of brainwashing have taken their toll on people's ability to think clearly. Add to that the stresses from the plandemic and the economic situation many (most) people find themselves in and it's little wonder people simply can't be bothered about the war in Ukraine. Most couldn't find Ukraine on a map and have absolutely no clue about history.

Agreed, but a lot of people do realise that the war is a proxy and know all about the 2014 coup and the fascists there etc etc. Yet we still seem to be OK with giving £4.6 billion of our money, when many are, as you say, feeling the pinch, (especially after wasting £410 billion on the plandemic) towards another pointless exercise that we are involved in continuing. If we don't care about war per se shouldn't we care about what a large amount of our taxes are being spent on?

I agree that some do know those things, but either they don't care much about that or they don't care enough to complain (and whom would they complain to, anyway?). And, again FWIW, my sense is that people probably couldn't care less about the Federal budget and where all that money is going. I think people are resigned to the fact that Federal spending (much of which now benefits Americans; a huger percentage of people receive a check every month from the "government") is going to continue regardless of any wrangling in DC; I just don't get the impression that people realize the connection between taxes and Federal spending, since no matter how much they pay, spending far exceeds receipts. I could be wrong, of course.

Yes, they do know these things and don't see to care, but maybe some do and I'm just not following the right people.

I don't understand at all about federal spending or taxes being in the UK. But it seems to be a big bottomless pot when it comes to giving it to their friends in industry, but not so much for local services.

Plus, they're convinced this war is justified thanks to the propaganda. Basically many of the protesting types turn up because that's what their peers are doing, or they've been brainwashed to do it, otherwise they'd be out there now. But we're not supposed to protest this war.

Absolutely right. War is now peace x

The evils associated with this war are beyond human comprehension. Perhaps that's why people simply can't be bothered to look beyond the propaganda. If they only knew . . .

They've supported the cause they were meant to support, read the articles that came their way, and then they carried on. This war is a nexus of so many intersecting points of evil.

It's possible the Ukraine war is fake like COVID. This post has a long comment that was originally made on Off-Guardian from a supposed insider, who claims Ukraine is Plan B for the Great Reset:

You are right all the pictures and footage we see are clearly fake. But it's still all about the money for me not a conspiracy.

It's always sounded a bit off. I only saw a few photos early on when I studied it and they were fake.

At this point (I read the link, makes sense), my goal is to keep speaking out and keep working on not being afraid. The more I say, weirdly enough (even to the hyper-brainwashed), the more they realize that what I'm saying holds water.

Yes, we only have a brief life, I don't want to spend it being afraid.

In my case, I especially don't want to after seeing what a sucker I was in the early days of the corona (but just for a month), but then for a very long time with all the stuff coming out about the agenda of the globies. They may eventually be able to ruin people's lives in many ways, but we can stop them making us afraid or taking away our happiness.

I fear you are correct. America loves war, and thank God Putin is accommodating us.

Has any war ever been black-and-white? Where one side was clearly right and the other clearly wrong?

Humans demonstrate daily their inability, and unwillingness, to cooperate with each other. We choose our political systems to support this. We accept and tolerate domestic mass shootings.
