I would like to add to your list for good sleep.

1. Get early morning Sun directly to your crown chakra, and if you can look at it from your peripheral vision. The retina will also synthesize it along with the pineal gland, as you have stated.

2. Eat your last meal at least 3 hours before bed; and preferably not a big meal.

3. If you drink coffee and have a hard time falling asleep, don't drink it past noon.

4. If you can't fall asleep, put pressure on the last knuckle of either hand, and take a deep breath, hold it in, and in a very short time you will fall asleep, as you let the breath out.

5. And the final tip is, if you can't sleep there are several homeopathic remedies you can take, plus/or breathe in a few drops of lavender.

I am sure your readers have many more tips they can share.

Thank you for this great article on sleep and allowing me to comment. Blessings from SEA.

Fascinating!

Going to try that tonight, although I have no trouble falling asleep, even after drinking coffee all day.

Hope to pay that forward!

“... the innocent sleep,

Sleep that knits up the raveled sleave of care,

The death of each day's life, sore labour's bath,

Balm of hurt minds, great nature's second course,

Chief nourisher in life's feast.”

- Shakespeare, Macbeth, 1606 (Act 2, Sc. 2)
