Why do those who support the profits of oil, gas, coal and animal ag

lose their shit if solar, wind or plant based burgers make any money?

Are the fossil fuel and animal ag industries pure as the driven snow?

The five big fossil fuel companies and the giant animal ag/pharma/agrochemical cartels make massive profits, get massive tax payer subsidies in both cost of production and the price to the consumer and are not liable for any environmental damage of extraction, burning nor poisonous run off.

They produce misleading studies hiding the harmful effects of animal fat as well as alleging that regenerative or pasture fed beef, only available to the well off, is carbon neutral, or even negative. This is false. Off-farm sources and the plants themselves account for the carbon sequestration. If the present amount of beef was raised this way it would require 3 times the present amount of global agricultural land currently used for total food production. A lot of deforestation. You can also be sure that the industry takes every advantage of every loop hole to maximise its $trillions in profits.

Yet when solar and wind companies (who can make electricity very cheaply) make money; this is unacceptable profiteering? Or if they take advantage of the broken system in which the cheapness of their product is not passed on the consumer thus de-incentivising efficiency; this means that we can dismiss the climate crisis?

Seems like a double standard to me.

Indeed, massive consumption of virtue signalling, macho and penis extending electric cars will not keep us below 1.5 degrees by 2050. To do this everyone is allowed to emit 1.6 gigas each per year. The US currently emits 17 each and many in the developing world less than 1.6. A redistribution providing basic human needs to all, together with investment in public transport and services in the West has to accompany the transition to cleaner energy.

It will also require a massive decrease in profits for the 1% currently earned by keeping Westerners fat, sick and on drugs and by the US invading, subjugating and stealing fossil fuels and agricultural land from everyone else.

There is no mark up, nor subsidy, in an organic whole food plant based diet, no one is going to make any money out of it, nor do the elites want us healthy and avoiding medications. If, however, when you hear ‘plant based burgers’ (if made with GMO soy, better than the ground up bits from sick animals themselves fed GMO soy) you hear ‘vegan sausages are going to be forced down our throats’ instead; I suggest that you’ve fallen for the ridiculous propaganda that the elites are woke or ‘left’ or that they give a shit about trans people, Black people, animals or the environment. In fact, the opposite is true. The same old tired climate denial tropes are pushed and repeated by compassion hating White supremacists Tucker Carlson and Jordon B. Peterson as part of the contrived backlash. Only 0.3% of UK farmland is going to be used for solar panels.

The purpose of the system is what it does.

The purpose of the hypocrites at the COP and the WEF has been to convince millions, on behalf of the Imperial core who prefer zero government regulation and for climate change to go away, that the climate crisis is a hoax and that everyone who says otherwise is a fool or is trying to take us back to cave dwelling.
