S-Methylmethionine in raw or very lightly cooked crucifers (brassica vegetables) would seem more likely helpful than nasty tasting sulforaphane. It restores deficient methylation. If the picky eaters won't eat the crucifers, one can buy synthetic SAM-e (S-adenosylmethionine).
BTW, metals can be toxicants, but not toxins. They aren't biologically secreted (with minor exception of bacterial methylation of mercury to the more toxic dimethylmercury). Please change 'neurotoxin' to 'neurotoxicant' unless in reference to an actual biologically produced poison.
