I tried reading up a bit on GNM. At this point I don't have enough patience to learn something complicated, especially as I've overdosed on reading about medical medicine overload. I've always tended to believe the dis-ease notion of our physical ailments, and that our body is trying to communicate something our conscious mind doesn't want to know about, but it's necessary that we pay attention and take some kind of action.

As this GNM seems at least to be looking to resolve conflict and trauma, I think it's definitely a better approach than the usual allopathic one.

Excusse me: BS.

Why not "go backward"? A number of useful ideas and protocols existed prior to 1900, they were obliterated by pharma's determination to control medicine and profit from it.

I disagree with your remarks about diet. But this is no place to argue it.

I find no interest in GNM. I would like to know what Lanka said.

Fortunately, there is an addition on several GNM websites that does not seem to come from Hamer since it contradicts the rest of the story: From https://learninggnm.com/SBS/documents/five_laws.html

.

"Severe malnutrition, poisoning, or an injury can result in the dysfunction of an organ without a DHS."

.

"1st Criterion: Every “disease” - hereinafter called Significant Biological Special Program (SBS) - originates from a DHS (Dirk Hamer Syndrome), which is an unexpected, highly acute, and isolating conflict shock that occurs simultaneously in the psyche, the brain, and on the corresponding organ"

.

And isn't it that malnutrition (eating fake food and the wrong things) / overeating by eating all day (excessive insulin production) and all the toxins like pesticides and additives that make us unhealthy for the most part? Not to mention the medical sickening industry, stress and toxic air and environment. That leaves only a very small part with a psychological cause (GNM).

GNM is not German, not complete and partly false.

It says that there is always a mental connection to a physical problem.

Yes, mental problems can cause physical problems and the other way around, but that is certainly not always the case.

I.e. it does not account for a simple poisoning and it's idea of cancer is completely wrong. Cancer is not a disease, but a result of an other imbalance in our ecosystem (body) and forms instead of rot in an acidic and low oxygen environment. If we look at it like that, cancer saves lives as we would die quickly from rot.

GNM is a step in the right direction but if we look at terrain theory health is much more simple.

.

There are three causes of disease;

.

1. Deficiency - of nutrients, water, sun, sleep, exercise, love etc

2. Toxicity - from junk food, chemicals, poisons, alcohol, drugs etc

3. Trauma - a physical trauma or emotional trauma

There aren't thousands of different diseases, there's only one. It's called allostasis. Allostasis is the process of being in an active state of returning to homeostasis.

The symptoms are not the problem, they are the answer to the problem. The symptoms are not the disease, they are the body's healing response.

The human body is a self healing entity, it does not do anything wrong. The body has a remarkable capacity to heal itself, when you give it what it needs, remove what it doesn't need, and then get out of the way and let it do its thing.

.

Nature doesn't do disease. It's a consequence of a toxic, Western, modern, digital lifestyle.

.

Good health doesn't need to be over-complicated.

.

Get back to basics.

I feel that yes the GNM or New Biology has been very helpful in confirming that it's the chemotherapy that kills people and that 'cancer' from a specific trauma can be healed. I think an experienced psychotherapist or a person who themselves learns meditation and awareness would be able to bring to consciousness the 'conflict' that initiated the 'cancer', perhaps some knowledge of the areas of the brain affected may help, though would not be essential, and would be able to resolve the conflict and the 'cancer' with unconditional love and acceptance. They would not need a trained New Biology therapist to do this.

I agree with sticking to the basics; the wisdom of the body, avoiding doctors, diagnoses, medications, vaccines and drugs, having clean air and water, exercise, sleep, sunshine, an organic, whole food vegan diet, community, purpose and practising meditation and awareness are all that's needed. Which is pretty much what the original natural hygienists and the yogis have been saying for many years.

Yes, chemo'therapy' is only damaging health, but that does not make GNM good. There is not always a mental conflict associated with cancer and is always the result of an other physical imbalance in our bodies.

The white coat priests (doctors) telling people i.e. that they have an x amount of time to live often do create a mental problem.

We all have had cancers in our lives, most of it is never noticed and dealt with by our bodies without us even being aware of it.

Meditation is a practice to balance a left brain imbalance which is also very misunderstood by most people. Abuse of it is pushed by the UN New Age movement.

I agree with you on the GNM. When Isledora in the interview said that she advocated the Blood type diet she and her institute lost all credibility for me.

I think Dr Hamer has done some good in highlighting biological conflicts but of course other factors are such as diets producing high in IGF1 nitrosamines and low in fibre are involved.

Have you read Gabor Mate's When the body Says No? I think MS and other conditions are certainly linked with being too nice, repressing and not expressing emotion.

It is correct not to be reductionistic. It is not one thing. We are one, body, mind and emotion.

I have been meditating for years and it has improved my happiness beyond measure no one has tried to abuse me with it. I'm not ready to hear anything negative about it.

From the video it seems like realising where and when the initial conflict or emotional trauma was, which might be years ago or in childhood for example is important. So not being afraid of the diagnosis by understanding its nature and resolving the initial conflict are key.

Hiya, I don't know. The GNM seems to be about a biological shock happening, such as unexpected emotional trauma, which sets in motion events that we label as 'cancer'. I'm not sure what the therapy for dealing with these shocks and therefore the 'cancer' is. But I would think positive and affirmative thinking may well be involved.

I absolutely get your point, beautifully put. Naturopaths used to be trained in 'eat not too much, mostly plants', now they have succumbed to industry press and the need for funding and are taught to support expensive commercial supplements and testing over wisdom, being community based and prescribing home made or inexpensive herbal remedies. And they promote excessive dead flesh eating. The influence of the lucrative supplement and testing industries and the Weston A Price foundation is growing.

Yes you are right. The Natural Hygiene diet is not hot on seeds either.

I knew Tim Noakes was recommending lots of creamy food for nursing mothers and babies. But liver! Yuk. It may have all the nutrients, which a balanced vegan diet also has, but comes with a lot of stuff you don't want too.

I'm actually not sure about the evidence for anti-nutrients in plants. Phytates had had a make over last I heard and were beneficial for preventing cancer and osteoporosis- the studies on them preventing mineral absorption were done on puppies years ago. Lectins seem to only be a problem with red kidney beans that soaking can prevent and also seem to be beneficial in preventing cancer, people who eat more legumes and whole grains have less and people eating nuts have less heart disease osteoporosis. Dr Grundry's 'the plant paradox' has been thoroughly debunked.

All refined seed etc oils are definitely out though.
